Call for Art! The Entry deadline for the SCS Fine Art Show is October 19, 2026. Member-artists of all experience levels are able to participate in this exciting event with over $1,100 in prizes to be awarded! See the entry form, rules and flyer here.
Mark your calendars! Our next meeting will be October 19, 2027, at 1PM, at the Desert Vista Community Center. At this meeting we will accept FINAL entries for the November Fine Art Show. Blank Entry forms will be available. A "Member Spotlight" will be presented, and more. Minutes from prior meetings are available here.

This summer, you are encouraged to create a painting, to go with one of the stories written by the "Writer's Workshop" group. To view the stories presented so far, click here. NOTE: All the stories are on one document - so set your printer to print the specific pages you wish to print. The paintings and stories will be displayed at the 2026 Fine Art Show. You do not need to "enter" these paintings - they will not be part of the competition ... unless you wish to enter. Simply let us know, at the September meeting, that you are participating in this creative collaboration!

Need assistance? The board is available 20 minutes before each meeting, at Desert Vista. No appointment needed.
Monthly meetings occur on the third Monday, of each month (except June-August) at 1PM at the Desert Vista Community Center. Meetings typically include an informative presentation, short business meeting, a display of recent artworks by members, refreshments, raffles, and an opportunity to get to know fellow artists. Members are encouraged to attend!

Art Classes
Attendees must be a Sun City Resident and art club member.
Please come to any class and and ask for the "class monitor" to inquire about becoming a member, or learn more about the class (or reach out to the instructor). Thanks!
