Instructor Bio:  “I began a serious study of art and painting better than ten years ago.  Since then, I have engaged in a great deal of home study and have worked closely with three separate mentors, all of whom are remarkable artists and teachers.  Over the years I have been awarded a number of accolades from juried competitions, including four blue ribbons for oil and acrylic painting.  I enjoy teaching novice oil and acrylic artists, focusing on the tools and mediums available, basic painting techniques, basic composition, color blending and the importance of light and establishing values.”
