“After a career as a Early Childhood Educator, I am now able to actively pursue my passion for watercolor. My art education has come primarily from devouring art books and taking advantage of a variety of classes and workshops in recent years. I am still learning every day and would love to share ideas with you. We will explore desin elements and watercolor techniques while having fun!
I am a Signature Member of the Nevada Watercolor Society as well as a member of the Sun City Summerlin Art Club and City Lights Art Co-op. My artwork has been exhibited in several states and is in private collections across the country.”

“I began a serious study of art and painting better than ten years ago. Since then, I have engaged in a great deal of home study and have worked closely with three separate mentors, all of whom are remarkable artists and teachers. Over the years I have been awarded a number of accolades from juried competitions, including four blue ribbons for oil and acrylic painting. I enjoy teaching novice oil and acrylic artists, focusing on the tools and mediums available, basic painting techniques, basic composition, color blending and the importance of light and establishing values.”
